My was too short for most styles I'd have liked to do, but it was the perfect length to get these two buns the same size, so I went with it. This cardigan is amazing because it's called a 'batwing' cardigan and it makes me feel like I'm flying everywhere I walk, with my caps behind me... It's just fab, I suggest you get one to feel like a Goddess at every moment you put it on.
Yes. Yes you can.
But in all seriousness, my clear inspiration was the whole geisha vibe, although I usually perceive geisha's as vibrant with beautiful colours, this monotone vibe I styled was to do with my mood at the time; bored (of sixth form) and pretty darn cold! I was clearly mourning the cold weather because I personally loathe it, and would prefer if summer would just come knocking on my door and banish this cold weather from our lives. But anyway... what I like about this skirt is that it the patterns are not too distracting. I am not a big fan of patterns unless they are paired with minimalistic garments, and the length of it contrasts beautifully with my ankle-grazing batwing cardigan. A-line skirts are very a-la-mode right now, and I believe them to be perfect for tall people like myself who have wonderful long legs and not necessarily a large derrière (and therefore small hips) as the skirt illustrates a curvy silhouette. But, as the weather is currently still freezing, you'll probably be seeing more trousers and longer skirts from me!
