Miss Selfridge has some really cute things in-store right now! These are the dresses (and top) that I tried on yesterday.

*Bare in mind I am 5ft8, size 10 and with disproportionately long legs lol*

1. The black off-shoulder tee.

So, this image isn't too clear, but this top was a crop top and was fairly thin and almost see-through. It's ribbed and so so soft. This is the only item I ended up buying (unfortunately). The cut and the texture would go perfectly with some high-waisted jeans or shorts - perfect for the season coming up! 

2. The grey high-neck midi dress.

This ribbed dress is so cosy. It's perfect for a night-out, or for a lunch date in the afternoon. Grey is a colour which I find can be casual as well as smart. However, with this style of dress, I would not advice it for a classy dinner or likewise - it's definitely short and chic for a lively event.

3. The black high-neck midi dress.

This dress is very snug, and the smooth texture of the dress makes it perfect for all occasions. I would definitely save it for a more fancy event though, a London night-out, a dinner date, a girly dinner or some sort of "smart-casual" party. This would be beautifully style with black stilettos or chunky booties, such as Vagabonds, to really accentuate those legs. Oh, and red lipstick is a must.

4. The floral-bust, halter neck maxi dress.

Wearing size 10

Unfortunately my photography does not do this dress justice. It's long and so elegant - definitely to be worn with a strapless bra. This is to be worn with heels, chunky or stiletto style, and definitely not to be worn with any neck jewellery, the design is already an attractive accessory in itself. I would also advise it to be worn with a clutch bag.
